i have a 36in firepit n the 35in cover fits perfectly. Strong elastic keeps the cover taught around the pit. Polyester material is thick so it should hold up well. I gave 4 stars only because I dont know yet how the cover will hold up with the changing seasons.

I agree with all the positive comments regarding great fit, attractive, etc. But, we've had this cover for three years now, and the sun has turned it very brittle - it is deteriorating. We just had a hail storm, maybe marble size, and now the cover is riddled with holes. We live in southern NJ, and we have kept the fire pit with cover outside year round. I would buy again, but I will probably store the fire pit/cover for the winter to extend the life of the cover.

This cover fits over our ring perfectly. It will be used as a weather cover. The material is light weight but very strong with elastic that makes it fit tightly around the bottom of our iron fire ring. It is designed to keep the weather out.
