How to Measure Outdoor Cushions
Measure the width of the cushion at its widest point and the thickness of the cushion: most have at least a 4-inch thickness. Finally, double-check all your measurements. If you do not have existing cushions, you will need to measure the chair frame. Start by measuring from the front rail to the back of the seat and add 1 inch to that measurement. Measure from the top of the back to where the seat begins. If the seat supports stretch or there is a curve to the back of the chair, add 1.5 inches. Measure between the arms to obtain the seat width, and for thickness, again, plan on at least a 4-inch depth. |
